Mom wants to give her daughter an awesome name
Lexile

A Juneau, Alaska, woman wants to give her daughter an awesome middle name. Literally.

Lisa Flores is seeking court approval to legally change her daughter's middle name to Awesome.

The Juneau Empire reports Awesome would replace the given middle name of Contea for 2 1/2-year-old Viviana Flores.

Mom allowed her 11-year-old son to initially pick out his sister's name. Dominic wanted her first name to be Danger, something Mom vetoed. He came back with Awesome for a middle name, but Lisa picked "Contea" at the last minute.

She now wants the name changed to honor her son's wishes and to thank Dominic for all he has done to help her.

He says the "cool" name will allow her to tell people all her life that she has an "Awesome" middle name.

He could be bullied with a name like that and also people could end up being scared of him if he becomes an actual dangerous person. Hearing "danger" all the time, he might feel like people hate him and think hes dangerous. I think its a bad name and i don't think that should be used.

That sounds like a great idea. It would be cool if my middle name was Awesome. Then I could tell people "It's not my fault I'm Awesome!"

I think this is a weird middle name to have, but it is probably a rare name to have. I wonder if her mom will regret giving her daughter this new middle name.

With a name like danger it may give people the wrong idea about her. When you go into a interview your name is usually the first thing you say so it may set the a bad first impression.

With a name like "Danger", it could have people believe that this person is dangerous and harmful. A name like "Awesome" would be better than that.

An Alaskan women by the name of Lisa Flores wants to change her daughters middle name and make it awesome. She literally wants it to be "awesome". She only wants to change her middle name because her 11 year old son Dominic wants it to be that. She's trying to get Viviana the 2 1/2 year old little girls middle name legally approved. I think its kind strange to have awesome as your middle name, but its there choice not mine. Wish them luck with that.

This article is about how a mom wants to change her daughters middle name to "Awesome," literally. The family lives in Juneau, Alaska. Lisa Flores is the mother of 2 and a half year old Viviana Flores. Viviana's middle name is currently "Contea," but Lisa wants to change that. Lisa originally let Dominic, Viviana's brother, pick out her first name. Dominic chose the name "Danger," but Lisa didn't approve. So, Dominic chose the middle name "Awesome." Now, to grant Dominic's wishes and to thank him for all the help he has given her, she will try to change Viviana's middle name to "Awesome." I think this is very strange, and although she is honoring Dominic's wishes, I don't think the middle name "Awesome" is desired by anybody.

I think that awesome is a very unique name but i don't think that when she gets older she would want an middle name that is awesome because everyone is a little embarrassed by their middle name, but maybe she should consider viviana's future.
