The fascination with Hank the dog has legs.

The stray pup wandered into the Milwaukee Brewers' baseball spring training facility in Arizona last year. The dog later was adopted by a team executive. Now the fluffy white pooch has become a fan favorite.

A kiosk of Hank-related items has been erected on the field level concourse at Miller Park. That's where the Brewers play their home games. The kiosk features a variety of items for sale. They include Hank t-shirts, plush toys and dog leashes.

A locked display case features an array of expensive collectibles for the most dedicated Hank fans. There is even a Hank-worn All-Star game jersey that was made especially for him. It can be purchased for a whopping $1,200.

The Wisconsin Humane Society receives 20 percent of revenue from the sale of Hank merchandise. To date, more than $200,000 has been raised the team said.

The dog's bowl, with food residue still visible, has a $100 price tag. A bed on which Hank once slept can be had for $250.

Want a framed picture of Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy with the precious pup? It includes swatches of jerseys worn by each. Shell out $175 and take it home.

"This is just a function of the demand for Hank merchandise," Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger said.

Hank again will be honored with a bobblehead doll. It will be adorned in pink. The doll will be given to fans that attend a Mother's Day game.

"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Hank is extremely popular," Schlesinger said.

Hank visited the Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix last week. The dog was there to raise awareness for pet adoption programs at the Arizona Humane Society. He will make appearances for charitable causes in the Milwaukee area during the season.

He will return for several visits to Miller Park, too.

Critical thinking challenge: What did Rick Schlesinger mean when he said, "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Hank is extremely popular." What does Hank have to do with rocket science?

I could not imagine paying money for these kinds of items just because the dog has once touched them.

This article is about Hank the dog. Hank was a dog who wandered onto the Brewers training facility. A team executive later adopted him after the team fell on love with him. Fans adore the dog and you can buy his merchandise for up to $200. Hank has become extremely popular lately among Brewers fans. U think that it is really cool that the dog is so well liked by the fan base and the team. I also think that it's awesome that they are giving 20% of income to dog adoption awareness.

This is such a cute story, but really? Selling beds the dog slept on ONCE, a picture of Hank and the catcher with shreds of fabric from their jerseys, and even an old dog food bowl? I understand this is for a good cause, but really? I find it absolutely ridiculous they think they can sell those things for that obscene amount of cash. I think they should use Hank to raise money in other ways besides selling ridiculous once used items.

It's so strange how a random stray could walk in to a park, and become a marvelous endorser for the Milwaukee Brewers. It's a great story, and really makes you wonder about Hank's history. He could have been a dog with no home, and then the Brewers took him in to become a hero for the team. It's nice to see things like that can happen, and I'm sure that the athletes and their families and friends, enjoy having a supporting mascot for the team. Stories like this really strike interest into a reader's mind.

All parks for the MLB have a special mascot. The Red Sox's have the green monster, and the nationals have Teddy Roosevelt, but now the Milwaukee Brewers have Hank the Dog. Hank came onto the field during spring training, and after getting vaccines for Hank, he adoppted the little fellow, and ever since he had been a fan favorite. Ever since, merchandise for the pooch has skyrocketed in sales after Hank became the talk of the town. He has been a symbol for the humane society for dogs in Milwaukee, and he has raised over 200,000 dollars for the society, and this has helped dogs everywhere get a better home. In my opinion, this is a amazing story, and I think the concept is great. I mean, I love the Dog and I'm not even a fan of the brewers.

Hank the dog has been very popular, ever since he wandered into the Milwaukee Brewers' baseball spring training facility in Arizona last year. He was a stray but was adopted by one of the team's executives. Hank has many sales like, Hank t-shirts, plush toys, and leashes. Twenty percent of the money goes to the Wisconsin Humane Society. Hank also shows up to many baseball events to help raise awareness for dog adoption. I think Hank is a great inspiration.
