The White House has two words for those who want President Barack Obama to deport Justin Bieber: No comment.

Nearly 275,000 people signed an Internet petition calling the Canadian-born teen idol reckless and asking Obama to revoke his green card. That's far more than required to merit an official response through the White House's "We the People" program.

The White House says it's sorry to disappoint, but it won't be commenting. It's citing a caveat that lets the White House decline to address certain petitions.

But the White House is using the occasion to argue that an immigration overhaul could shrink deficits by nearly $1 trillion over two decades. The White House says that's equivalent to 12.5 billion concert tickets or 100 billion copies of Bieber's debut album.

Critical thinking challenge: As a citizen of Canada, how does Justin Bieber benefit the United States if at all?

I think that Justin Beiber should leave the country already. He gives a bad omen for this country and he makes us look bad. Not only does he do drugs, he goes and gets arrested for drunk driving. To be honest, I don't know how he ended up in the United States in the first place. Send him to another country to let them suffer with him.

i think Obama should give him anouther chance because he is a kid who did wrong but yet it was still a bad idea to drag race and he should go to jail.

I think they should deport Justin Bieber because he may have the hugest fan base in the world, but he still has no influence on the kids these days.

In my opinion I feel that as a citizen of Canada justin bieber doesn't benefit anything to the United States . I don't think it would be a problem if he got his green card revoked.

I mean before all his bad behavior started he did save over a million girls from committing suicide so that's a pretty big benefit of Justin being in the US. But since he has had bad behavior I don't think he is a benefit to have in the U.S.

I think that Justin Bieber should go back to Canada and have his green card revoked. He really is just doing stupid things to gain more popularity. He doesn't even show that he's a good role model anymore. What's worse of all, his fans think that nobody can go against him and that he's perfect. It's stupid.

He honestly doesn't benefit the United States today. All he does is sing and then causes many issues. It seems as though he thinks he doesn't have to follow the law. So, even if they didn't let Bieber come back to the United States, it wouldn't even be a big issue.

I think the reason why people want him deported most likely not of what he's done but they just plainly don't like him honestly they shouldn't deport him so many people in America like him so it would be messed up every time they want to go to a concert or something they'll have to go to Canada.

I don't think that Bieber benefits from the US. If he did he would fight to stay in the US, not sit on his but and get high of drugs.
