COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - A charity that trains service dogs for disabled veterans has commissioned a statue of the late George H.W. Bush's service dog for the 41st president's library.

America's VetDogs has commissioned sculptor Susan Bahary to create the bronze statue of Sully for placement in the east wing of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University.

VetDogs President John Miller says the statue will depict Sully sitting with his leash in his mouth, the "retrieve" task VetDogs trains its dogs to perform and will show Sully wearing his America's VetDogs vest with the Great Seal of the United States on its back.

The yellow Labrador golden retriever assisted the former president for the last six months of his life before Bush's death last November at age 94.

I would depict a severe dog by askIn about the nature or extent of an individual's disability. require proof that the animal has been certified, trained or licensed as a service animal. require the animal to wear an identifying vest or tag. ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the task or work.

Sally is wearing his America’s VetDogs Vest with the Great Seal of the United States on its back and another dog would probably wear something like a vet that save people like a lifeguard dog so i would depict a statue of Sally

I would know that it is a service dog because it is helping a person who has a disability, such as visual impairment, hearing impairment, mental illness (like post traumatic stress disorder), seizures, mobility impairment, and diabetes.

It probably would not be another statue of a dog because some dogs aren’t as popular as the Sully
