An animal control worker in Michigan was sure he was looking at a young tiger lying in a driveway. So he approached with care. He grabbed a pole and a shield. He also called police.

Turns out, it was a stuffed animal.

The Grand Rapids Press reports that Kent County Animal Control got a call about a tiger in the driveway. It was seen at an empty Grand Rapids home.

Supervisor Joe Dainelis answered the call. When he spotted the animal, he grabbed his safety gear. Neighbors also thought the life-sized, furry toy was real.

Meanwhile, Rachel Jensen, approached from another direction. She is Dainelis' co-worker. She realized there was nothing ferocious about the toy feline.

Dainelis says he expects to be teased for a few days.

Critical thinking challenge: What indicates that Joe Dainelis wasn't crazy to think the toy tiger was real?

You are very stupid to say something like that. I'm pretty sure that you didn't even read the article. The animal officer saw a stuffed tiger, but thought that it was a real tiger. Annabel, you need to learn how to read the whole article because your comments are very stupid and its like a fist grader made up the whole story. Police don't deal with animals stupid Annabel. The police has other things like crime scenes and other things besides animals. Animal control is supposed to handle animals and that officer was pert of the animal control stupid Annabel.

Annabel: I disagree with you that the animal control or anything like that put the tiger there. In the article that they saw the tiger so that is why they took out their gear to catch the tiger. They thought it was a real tiger. The animal control thought it was a real tiger. But when they got it they realized that it wasn't a real tiger. So someone left the tiger there so they can make people think that it is real. But it isn't real. So the animal control didn't put it there someone else put it there. So Annabel, next time read the article carefully and read it again so you don't make the same mistake. And animal control shouldn't pay because they didn't put up the real tiger. Also the police shouldn't pay either because they didn't do anything at all too.

Annabel, the animal control officer did not put the stuffed tiger on the driveway. People do not get payed for calling the police. Animal control officers do not pay for this cause. It is just a stuffed tiger to be a prank for the animal control officer. Annabel, you really should take the time to read the articles. Read the article Annabel.
