An animal control worker in Michigan was sure he was looking at a young tiger lying in a driveway. So he approached with care. He grabbed a pole and a shield. He also called police.

Turns out, it was a stuffed animal.

The Grand Rapids Press reports that Kent County Animal Control got a call about a tiger in the driveway. It was seen at an empty Grand Rapids home.

Supervisor Joe Dainelis answered the call. When he spotted the animal, he grabbed his safety gear. Neighbors also thought the life-sized, furry toy was real.

Meanwhile, Rachel Jensen, approached from another direction. She is Dainelis' co-worker. She realized there was nothing ferocious about the toy feline.

Dainelis says he expects to be teased for a few days.

Critical thinking challenge: What indicates that Joe Dainelis wasn't crazy to think the toy tiger was real?

I think that the story is very funny because the case is strange, since confuse the toy with a real tiger, actually it is unusual. But, anyone it can happen.
Critical thinking challenge: what indicates that Joe Dainelis wasnt crazy to think the toy tiger was real?
Because exist a lot reason that indicate that Joe Dainelis wasnt crazy to think the toy tiger was real, like the size of the toy tiger, other reason is the situation that describe the place where seen the tiger and because it see from a distance appear a real tiger.

I liked this article. But for my taste it was a little too short. To answer the critical thinking challenge I think Joe Dainelis wasn't crazy to think the toy tiger was real because maybe tigers are common in Grand Rapids, or maybe he just thought that a tiger escaped from the zoo and didn't approach the tiger very scared so the tiger didn't attack him. I liked this article.

Scare in Michigan before that an animal control worker claim be seen a young tiger that life-sizad and with spotted skin, around the driveway. Generate numerous calls about the same and was Joe Dainelis who answer this calls.
in my opinion is very funny this type the thing though at the same time i belive that is a little danger since mora the one person be able to get scared in fact and is very complicated know how can react in this case and more even with the image the a feline that ferocious as tiger .
Joe Dainelis no is crazy because he know that this tiger is a toy is for this that he finish says "expects to be a teaser for a few days"-

    Resume:

This paragraph talks about a funny anecdote that happened to a man in Michigan. Supposedly he saw a tiger at the entrance and it was only a stuffed tiger. The man even called the police, but it was a false alarm, as it was only a stuffed tiger.

    Personal Opinion:

This paragraph made me laugh a lot. The man who discovered the alleged tiger at the entrance must have been drunk or something, because I do not understand how he mistook a tiger with a stuffed tiger.

    Answer (Critical thinking challenge):

I think that might confuse stuffed tiger with a tiger, because of the resemblance of the toy and the animal. In addition, residents also were frightened because the man who mistook the tiger, causing fear among the residents.

The supervisor Joe Dainelis answered the call, When he saw the animal, he took his safety gear. neighbors also thought the life-sized, furry toy was real, but it was just a stuffed animal. I think that he may be was scared whe he saw the "tiger." if I who he found the animal had been, I would have been afraid but also curious.

The natural reaction of a person who sees a wild animal in the middle of a road, is to feel panic and fear.
Personally, I think that if I see that,, I would not verify if what I saw is real or not, being that, we are talking about a tiger, a powerful animal that can kill a human in a couple of seconds.
Feeling fear is not wrong, I think that this situation had a positive result, as all acted quickly to danger, making it clear that they have a good system.
And if neighbors also believed, it is not only a crazy person, but more than one statement.
Feeling ashamed or strange for this result is normal, we have to only educate the people about not letting life-sized stuffed animals in the middle of a road, or make threats to others.

The story is about a stuffed tiger who has deceived many people for its size so real. A worker control animals fell into its trap, when he thought that what was in the driveway was a young tiger lying, he walked with a stick and shield for see if he was alive and finds with surprise that it was a stuffed animal.
The Grand Rapids Press reports that it was also seen in an empty house in Grand Rapids. The Supervisor Joe Dainelis received the call and when he saw the animal thought the same as the neighbors thought it was real. Meanwhile, Rachel Jensen, coworker Dainelis realized that the cat was a toy.
Dainelis expects to be mocked by a few days.
What Joe Dainelis Indicates That was not crazy to think the toy tiger was real? The size of the stuffed was so real, everyone thought the same as him also on the photo that appears in the article seems to a real tiger. There might be many tigers in Grand Rapids, or perhaps a zoo near ..
My opinion: I think it's a very funny story, that how this stuffed mocked many people, but my question is ... Who puts the stuffed in the different places that names the article?

    REBUTTAL:
Annabel I really disagree with you because the Animal Control Officer didn't put it there at all. It wasn't them at all but I thin you didn't read the article carefully and you wrote all this stuff that doesn't relate to the article which means that you weren't reading carefully. The officers weren't teasing people. The people and the officers were teasing Joe because he thought that the tiger was real and called the officers. And if he was crazy I still think that he wouldn't get a shield to protect him and spears to kill the tiger which you wrote up there for your critical thinking challenge.
