Would you pay $40,000 for Justin Bieber's hair? Justin Bieber's hair is officially the stuff of legend: His hair clippings have sold for more than $40,000 on eBay.

After the 17-year-old pop sensation chopped off some of his famous locks, he brought the clippings to the "Ellen" show. Host Ellen DeGeneres put them on eBay.

When the bidding ended, the clippings went for $40,668. The proceeds are being donated to The Gentle Barn, which rescues neglected and abused animals and uses them to help disadvantaged kids.

Bieber's magic touch continues. He's got two albums in the top five on the U.S. album chart this week, and his movie, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (3-D)," has grossed almost $70 million at the box office since its release last month.

i wouldnt buy justin biebers hair but the good thing was is he didnt keep the money for himself. he donated it so i thought that was cool.

This is dumb, I could easily clip someones hair off and say that it's someone famous' hair. The only thing good about this article is that the profits are going to a charity. I have famous people that I love, but I would never ever pay for their hair, that's just creepy and weird.

I wouldnt pay for his hair but I would do anything to go to his concert and have him play pray I mean I love him so much but I wouldn't pay that much just for hair even for his hair I wouldnt make enough to do so If I could and my parwnts would not give me the money because its just hair

You know what i would never buy " Justin Bieber's" hair cut. you know how much stuff i can get for 40,000 dollars??? Why waist perfectly good money on a hair cut. this is just stupid and I'm tired hearing Justin Bieber this Justin Bieber that so sick of it he is just a regular non talented kid!!!!!
