World's tallest girl is almost 7 feet tall Think of the tallest friend you have.

Odds are, he or she doesn't hold a candle to 16-year-old Marvadene Anderson.

Marvadene, whose nickname is "Bubbles" because of her bubbly personality, is the tallest teenager in the world at 6'10".

Could you imagine being three inches taller than basketball super star LeBron James?

Bubbles is now the star of the Rutgers Prep High School basketball team.

Some of the other girls on the team are only as tall as Marvadene's elbow! Marvadene is originally from Jamaica, but left her home and family to receive a better education at Rutgers Prep and join their basketball team -- a sport she never played before.

Bubbles is only a sophomore, but college recruiters already have their eyes on her. And get this -- Bubbles may not be done growing yet since she's so young. The tallest woman ever was over 7'7", so there's a chance that someday Marvadene could surpass that.

That's amazing that Marvadene Anderson is 6'10! It must be hard being tall because she probably gets made fun of a lot. My friends that are only like 5'8 get made fun of for being tall

Wow, this girl is really tall! I could not imagine being that tall. But, I think it would be really fun. I bet she is really good at basketball and will have a good future in the sport.

This is pretty tall for a girl. If it were a guy, it would be nothing because tons of guys are like 6'10 and all that. The tallest girl i have seen was like 6'3 so I can see why this is the tallest girl in the world.

I'm supurised that she is 7 feet tall at aa age of 16.Wow that is so crazy, I am only 5'2". I wish I could be that tall. I can't believe she is still growing. I wonder how tall she is going to be when she is done growing.

i think that its amazing that she is that tall. alot of people are like i want to be that tall!!! i wouldn't really want to be that tall. you would have to find clothes that are tall or big. also it would be hard to go to your locker or go out to the movies because your SO tall.

I don't know. I don't think it would be very fun (or comfortable) to have to crane my neck to speak to people. I think I'd rather be my height... short. (No need for exact measurements.) But it would be fun to be able to play basketball. Do you hear that, Fate? Just ABLE, that's all I'm asking.

Wow that is tall. Shes 7 feet. i wonder how old she is at 7 feet. I would want to be that tall. Like the boy in world record book he is 8 feety tall.

Marvadene is the tallest teenager alive and still growing. Most of her friends are about up to her elbow. She is 6 10, 9 inches a away to tie the tallest women alive.

Oh my gosh she is really tall. I would really like to be that tall and shes probably really good at basketball and can dunk on everybody else. It also sounds like it would be really fun to be that tall.
