All over town ran a lone goat as Odessa police and animal control officers tried to catch the roaming animal. The report to police came in Saturday as a sheep on the loose. Officers then determined it was a goat loping through a Taco Bell parking lot, a park and the dorm area at the University of Texas-Permian Basin.
It took four police officers, two animal control officers and one off-duty police officer on motorcycle to corral the goat after about 30 minutes.
Animal control officers subdued the goat with a tranquilizer gun and took custody of it.
There was no immediate word on who owned the goat.

That goat is not wild it is a goat that is not use to humans. The goat was just wanting to go eat some tacos. I think that was abusive to use a tranquilizer gun on the goat. In the picture they is more than one goat.
Lol! The goat had run away just so he could get some tacos from Taco Bell! XD Well, come to think of it... that's a pretty good idea...
cool i wild goat running all over town that is some weird animal i hope they got the goat in a local zoo or something like that youknowe what i would do to the goat i would trap the goat and let it free in the wild.
The goat chase must of have been fun! Maybe as soon as they got the goat they rode him/her and said "YEE HAA"! Like a cowboy/cowgirl.
goats can only hold 30% of their own body weight. If they did try to ride it, it would be animal abuse. Imagine you were the goat, how would you like it if some random people started chasing you.
That was a renegade goat I bet it was walking around thinking that it was so cool then all of the sudden a police officer jumps on its back and yells Yee-Haa.
a wild goat chase well that must be fun i woulder who chased the goat so he went to taco bell well he must have been hungry i mite have been freaked out to see a goat go through the toca bell parking lot as i was eating my food a goat comes up to me.
That must have been a pretty bad goat to get in that much trouble. I can't believe that a an tiny little goat could do that much. I wonder who that goat belonged to. Did it have a family? How old is it? These are some questions that i would like to find the answer to. I hope that the goat will get released into a place that it can burn some energy and be free.

Hey, sorry but you fogot punctuation. Ya i like goats too, I have goats. My goats are faint goats, you can hit them with a bucket, they will fall over and theyr'e legs will stiffen up!!!!!!!
