What do you name a baby penguin?

What do you name a baby penguin? Caretakers at the SeaWorld San Diego Penguin Encounter say their newest emperor penguin chick is 25 days old. It will be introduced to the adult emperor colony when it is 4 months old.

The penguin encounter is the only place in North America that successfully breeds emperor penguins.

Caretakers will not know whether the penguin is male or female for another month.

Spokeswoman Alexandra Kuty says there were 10 eggs this year but only one chick. It is the 21st emperor penguin hatched at SeaWorld.

The chick weighed 12 ounces and was 4 inches tall when it was hatched. Today, it weighs nearly 2 pounds and is almost 7 inches tall. It will eventually be 4 feet tall and weigh around 99 pounds.

i love penguins so much! i don't know why but i do! i asked my mom if i could get a baby penguin for Christmas, but she said i was crazy! I'm stilling waiting for a penguin to show up at my door! i would love that! i can't wait for that day!

I know what i would name a 25 day old penguin!! I would name it churpyy!!1 and it would be the #1 penguin.. just like people are #1 fans of selena gomez or justin bieber. it would wadll its flippers all over the ice and slide down its belly like normal penguins!!!!!

Penguins are my favorite animal. If I were to name the penguin I would name it Penelope if it was a girl and Popper if it were a boy. That is just my opinion. :)

I love penguins. I like how the slide on there belly, hunt for fish, and waddle around. I think a good name for it would be Noodles. But that's just my opinion.

If it was a girl penguin I would name it Natasha Adrie Smith and if it was a boy I would name it Jorge Anthony Smith!

I would call it HOT CHOCOLATE or HAPPY FEET. I would call it happy feet because it looks like happy feet from the movie. I love penguins because they slide on their belly.

I picked this article because if I grow up, I'll travel to Antarctica to see the baby penguins. I interested that I name him or her, maybe I name him Jackie Beak. That's a perfect way I name him. I would recommend it to my friends to see the baby penguins are cute. Jackie Beak the baby penguin.
