What are they thinkining !!!!! Of all things Education should be the number one priority of the states concern. I shouldn't be the one to break it to you either. What does the parents think ? Tax payers how are you supposed to feel. I remember my mother working really hard to make ends meat, and those taxes that were paid , she intrusted into education. Whats up with that !!! Really and senior year should be the best cutiing it will make the kids not mature enough for the real world.

Your senior year is important. You should be able o experience those things and you'll probably regret it if you don't. I don't think that allowing students to skip senior year is okay. It does help influence education in their lives.

I think skip senior year will influence students’ education. I strongly suggest that schools need to consider more about students’ situation when they make final decision. Senior year is a really important year to their education, as an ending of K-12 education and turning point. Most students make important decision in their senior year, such as they will go to military, college or get a job. What happen in Utah, the state skip senior due to lack of money, which would be concern as an unfair treatment to students. It forces student to finish their education and gives pressure to make a quick decision about their future. Even some student may want to skip senior year due to personal reason; however, to more than half of the students, they might want to stay in high school and prepare walk into another world, to the society or college life. Also it’s hard to get into a different environment directly when they barely finish junior year and have no preparation about future.

I don't think it is good to skip senior year because senior year gives students an opportunity to prepare for the life in college. Students might finish their classes early, but it does not mean that they don’t need one more year to do other staff. After finish classes, students have to have time to prepare for the applications and scholarship. They can rest a year and think about their future, we cannot just finish classes and get out early and doesn’t anything want to do. Senior gives students an option to think, and students also want to attend senior year to relax. And there is students don’t want leave one year early, they might not ready for college or getting a job, it may become pressure to students. They cannot do that because of the lack of money, I believe that they may have other choices, education is really important to everyone.

i would never skip senior year its like the great one. theres prom and everything and homecoming i would never skip any year let alone senior i started at madison and im finnishing here. and who ever is skipping their senior year just might be crazy!!

I think that they should get rid of Senior year because you already have everything you need in you Junior year. So why stay in school another?

That's Dumb. Just because of money problems? I wouldn't want to skip senior year, that's probably the best & last year of schooling. I agree, government should spend more money on education, instead of stupid things we don't need, & they are still fighting in Iraq, like really? They are just wasting allot of money that we don't have.

I wouldn't skip senior year because you wouldn't be able to have a job or anything and its just the last year of school.You kids out there that thimk it is cool to skip senior year that is on you .You probably wont have a good life than you probably would recreat droping out of school.

There is some schools that don't want to waste money on the people who are going to graduate.The senior year is one of the most important years of your life with your graduation and truly seeing the finish line of mandatory school.
