Some people will say yes and others will say NO WAY. There has been a long debate among parents and educators about whether the summer break is too long. Research says that kids lose a lot of what they learned during the school year because the summer break is too long and kids simply do not do much learning over the summer. Others argue that the summer is when kids learn how to entertain themselves and spend time doing things that they do not have time for during the school year.
