Rock Shrimp Festival at Historic District, St. Marys, GA

When the weather turns cooler, then it's time for the Rock Shrimp Festival in Historic St. Marys. This festival is held the first Saturday in October and is hosted by the Kiwanis Club. The festival includes 5K/10K races, parade, and entertainment thru-out the day, food concessions, arts and crafts booths and rock shrimp dinners.

You got me at the words 'shrimp' and 'rock'. That sounds absolutely awesome! Next time this happens i need to know where it is! I WILL GO WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

That was a really cool festival i actually helped but up a stand there with my friends from the teen center, it was really fun i would consider going there sometime they have pirades to.

This is a really cool festival, though i haven't been before I hear that it is pretty fun. Maybe I can go next year. If I do go I know exactly that to order.

I agree with Alex this place rocks its like the best place to go to if you want some shrimp with some really good entertainment. I cant tell you how many times I been to this place and seen some pretty amazing things. I would recommend this to some one especially if they like d shrimp and that fits into my family description on the food section SEA FOOD!!!!!

I've been to that before. It was actually very fun with alot of shrimp. They had alot of crazy people in the parade doing alot acrobats and things like that. Its knida sort of like the crawfish festival they have every year i think in Fernidina Beach.
