Playstation Home on PS3:

ocial gaming is truly taking off in this generation, with games such as Resistance 2 featuring an eight-player co-op mode and clans of hundreds of people battling on Killzone 2. You really need friends to get full enjoyment of your games. While Microsoft has focused its effort on improving interaction between people you already know, Playstation decided to create Home to help gamers find new people to play their favorite games with.

Home is a free, virtual world that comes on every Playstation 3. Users create their avatars, with enough customizable options that their online persona can look exactly like them in real life, and venture around the spaces of Home. These spaces include areas for conversation, playing minigames, and themed spaces such as the Guitar Hero space, which lets you hang out back stage.

Each user has his or her own virtual apartment, which he or she decorates using the free furniture, or purchase more from the shops and invite friends over to talk before launching into a game.

While Home is currently in beta, it has come a long way since its launch in December and is beginning to show its amazing potential.

ya i have this and it's fun. i play call of duty modern warfare 2 on it. if you have PlayStation network add me as a friend @ brock24

I have playstation 3 but I have never seen this feature. Im goinng to have to try it today. Sounds alot like the virtual worlds on the internet already. But who knows, it might be fun.

I think that home is just another way for Sony to make money off of people for the loss of paying for online like the 360 I have a ps3 and once an a while I go on home but its really boring kind of like the sim's but instead you get to go online and have to buy items with real money.

I get on PlayStation home to find friends or clans for games like Modern Warfare 2 or Resistance 2. The only feature I think is dumb is buying different things for your virtual character. The prices are way to high and nobody really cares about what you where on an online virtual world. It is also a fun place to annoy people! :)

i have a playstation 3 and i didnt even know this was available. it sounds weird but i will try it when i get out of the (prison (school)).
