OK isn't OK about kangaroo

OK isn't OK about kangaroo An Oklahoma woman says she and her pet kangaroo are moving because she says city workers told her they would take the animal or fine her for violating a local ordinance.

Christie Carr says she and Irwin the kangaroo are moving from Broken Arrow to McAlester to stay with her parents because of the fuss.

But the city says no threats were made to seize the animal and that Carr failed to turn in the proper paperwork that would have allowed her to keep Irwin.

Last year, Broken Arrow's city council voted to create an exotic animal ordinance exemption that allowed Carr to keep within city limits under certain conditions.

Irwin fractured his neck when he ran into a fence, and Carr took him home and nursed him back to health.

I think that it is sad that she had to go through all that just to keep her pet. But it does have a happy and sad ending because Irwin ran into a fence and because she nurses him back to health.

She is crazy for having that thing. Those things can get very big and the bigger they get the more dangerous they get. The longer she keeps this thing the harder it's going to be to get rid of it.

Kangaroo are not ok they punch you and they pound you. That is why I don't like to go too zoos. But I do like them. They look cute, but they may hurt you.

I think it's cool how she took the kangaroo in and helped it. She should treat it and care for it but when it's nourished back to full health she should release Irwin. She might want to find her mom or want to find a mate. Whatever the reason she needs to be release after cared for.

I think there is a reason for not be able to have a Kangaroo as a pet... I mean, yeah it would be cool to have a Kangaroo as a pet, but I think trying to take over a pet that isnt actually a house pet, is just to dangerous and to risky to be asking for.

OK that is crazy to keep a kangaroo in your house if it's not jumping all over the place. Plus that was really sweet when the women nursed her kangaroo when he fractured his neck.

I don't see any problem with keeping that kangaroo, I mean it wasn't harming anyone from what I read. I feel so bad about the kangaroo's neck, but I think it was so nice for the lady to nurse him back to health. I am very glad that no threats were made about seizing the animal. If I was that lady I would ask why I couldn't keep him, because he wasn't harming anyone, or their property. That kangaroo is so cute and deserves a nice home with that lady.

Wow, she actually has a pet kangaroo? Having a pet kangaroo would be awesome but, that would be very dangerous. What if it's instincts kick it and it started punching her and kicking her?

I love kangaroos. That's amazing how the city did that so the woman could keep her pet. That's sad it fractured his neck but it's good he's back to health.

Are you serius I never get cool animals. You are so lucky. I wish i had a kangero. That would be dangerous. I want to go out and buy one now.
