Movies on the Block

Providence’s only outdoor movie screen opens for its third season. Every Thursday beginning June 4th and running through September 24th, movies will be screened at dusk on the corner of Westminster St. and Union St.

Pop hits, cult classics and even some local shorts.. Bring your friends and family down for a drink, some eats, and a free film.

I think it's great that their opening an outdoor movie screen. I went to Providence this past summer and found that place still amazing as the first time i was there. The thing i didn't like was when some friends and I went to the movies it was actually hot inside so now that their opening the outdoor movie screen I'm gonna enjoy it more now that it would feel fresh because it would be outside. It would also make Providence more unique than it already is! Now I just hope I get to go this summer and enjoy the view with my friends! (:
