Motorcycle daredevil breaks record A motorcycle stuntman twice broke the world record for the longest distance jumped on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle Tuesday, sailing through the air near Australia's Sydney Harbour to shatter the previous 10-year-old record.

Seth Enslow flew to a new record distance of 183.7 feet on his Harley-Davidson XR1200 shortly after a 175 foot jump. Bubba Blackwell set the previous record with a 157 foot jump in Las Vegas in 1999.

"This is awesome! I'm stoked!" Enslow said after entering the record books.

Enslow appeared to be in pain after the jump, but members of his stunt team said he was fine.

"We've worked hard at creating history and we're all glad he landed it safely," Harley-Davidson spokesman Adrian O'Donoughue said.

Enslow's jump is not a Guinness World Record as Guinness has no category for specific motorcycles, but it still stands as a world record. Evel Knievel set the record in 1975 and held it for 24 years before Blackwell's jump.

I think this is really very cool and if I was this guy I would put my self in the world record book so we could see him.

I think this is very cool that he went that far on a motorcycle. i wish someday i could try that and beat his record. i wonder what kind of bike could be used to beat his record.

It would be awesome to jump that far! I have jumped a dirt bike but not that high and not on a Harley. I think that it is even cooler that his name is Seth, because my name is Seth and I was born the year that the previous record was, 1999. I think that Guinness should have a record for it because it is so far.

I would love to have a world record. I would be scared to jump that. I even have Bubba Blackwell's autograph. My dad got it for me.

That would be cool to get a world record where you scared when you were going to jump I would be scared if I was going on a jump.

That's real cool, but I'm kinda mad that he broke Evel Knievel's record. I mean, my brother got me thinking that Knievel is the absolute best stuntman ever. That also makes me more determined, because I kinda want to break the record for distance and stuff when it comes to motorcycles. That would be so awesome. It'd probably feel like you're flying!

Those sometimes end up with the person getting hurt or badly injured. But, that is cool to watch. I mean, seeing them go that high off the ground and then landing it.

WOW! That was a long jump. I can't believe that he jumped that long on a Harley-Davidson bike. At least he landed safely. That was an awesome jump.

Wow. that was cool and awesome and all those things like that. It would be hard to break a record like that. I wounder if the motorcycle engine was really fast.
