Miley Cyrus: No more 'Hannah Montana' films:
Miley Cyrus plans to be back on the big screen, and soon. Hannah Montana? Not likely. So says the 16-year-old tween phenom, whose alter ego brings her secret double life as a pop star to theaters April 10 with "Hannah Montana: The Movie." "We got really lucky with having the material to make one movie," Cyrus said in an interview Monday. The film reveals Hannah Montana's identity to the world in a way Cyrus says is "very clever" and diminishes the chances of a sequel — but doesn't dampen the future of the popular Disney TV show.
"I don't know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season," said Cyrus, who's signed up for a third and says she's interested in a fourth. "That would be what we would all agree on."
Cyrus also seems to agree with the idea of a jump to Hollywood: She's planning to spend the summer working on a film written by "Nights in Rodanthe" and "The Notebook" author Nicholas Sparks. But this is no adaptation of a bestselling romantic novel — instead, Sparks went directly to the screenplay this time, and did so with Cyrus in mind for the part.
Other than the title, "The Last Song," neither Sparks nor Cyrus are giving away any plot points. But Cyrus hints at a role that will put her acting chops to the test.
"I've always been lucky to play parts that relate to me, and this doesn't at all," she said. "I have my issues, but not as bad as this chick. So I'm happy to play someone that's just kind of out there and not someone that I'm like."
Like anyone else, Cyrus is waiting to see whether she's "a good actress or not, or if I'm just good at playing myself.
"So," she added, "We'll see how that goes."
Will that affect her status as a role model for young girls? Not any more than her feelings on the glamorous life she's chosen: Asked what kids should do if they're torn between pursuing an acting dream or going to college, Cyrus responds with her usual unfiltered candor.
"I say 'do it,'" she said, laughing as if she knew what kind of trouble she was causing for herself. "Be a freak. Go to Hollywood."

I thought she would never quit that never even came to my mind at all she was a good acter a good singer but I think she did a good thing if she wanted to keep her pearents together but in the other
hand she is grown so she alowed to stop and make all of her fans mad.
I use to watch Hannah Montana. I thought that she was a good role model , but I guess I was wrong. She has changed. I always said I wanted to be like her. Now I laugh at that. I don't like Hannah Montana or the person underneath.
I used to watch Hannah Montana a lot. she seemed like the picture perfect role model. but now she is setting bad examples like smoking and inappropriate pictures. I'm glad her shows stopped because the young viewers would take in her bad and make it good.
I like her show one time but that time was a bad time. she was veryy a good role model one time but now she just insane!
I miss her show. i found it quite interesting. and funny. and cool. too bad she is crazy now...she could have been really big...but shes crazy...
I love Hannah Montana i have her posters all over my wall , I really do love her and i hate that she has to leave but i still will watch her movies . Her and Miley Cyrus is the same person so i can still see her personality im just going to miss her !!!
I wish It had never went off. I grew up with that show. I mean I won't stop liking her because of it, but I'm going to miss it. I can't wait to see a movie with her in it! She is awesome and I love her!
that soo sweet for some people they watch her show back but some dont want it badly.but i dont mind that she makes her show again
Maybe thats good because it shows who she really is and that she can be herself instead of being hannah all the time and showing a different side of her.
My cousin was the one that told me that you weren't going to be no more Hannah Montana movies. I really like how Hannah Montana sings. She does not wear her wig anymore. I didn't believe my cousin until I saw the episode. I think Hannah Montana should not end because little kids are going to miss her.
