Man says he has no more room for 94 hamsters
Massachusetts man has turned over 94 hamsters to a local animal shelter, telling officials he was running out of room in his apartment.
The director of the shelter says the rodents were well cared for and will make nice pets.
Shelter director Mike Keiley said that the hamsters' owner, whom he didn't identify, stopped by this month and said he had a lot of hamsters to surrender.
A Lawrence animal control officer says the man was "overwhelmed" when officials came to get the hamsters Friday, and initially wanted to keep a few. But she says he changed his mind.
Officials say the man started keeping the hamsters about five years ago.

Wow a man turned over 94 hamsters that is a lot. I think he should keep 1 or 2 hamsters and give the rest to other people so they can have a pet.

Wow! Ninety-four hamsters, That is a lot of hamsters! Why would he want so many? I mean, it's nice to have one or two hamsters but, ninety-four! That's a little to many but, at least he took proper care of them and made sure they were happy, and you wouldn't have to worry about the hamsters getting lonely.

That just don't make know sense to have all them animals in house hold like isn't that kind of illegal i wonder if the man has Friends besides these hamsters if you look at that's just alot of hamsters he probably had more others probably died
Why did the man have more than 94 hamsters in his apartment? where did he get all those hamsters from? Why did the animal control change his mind about keeping a few hamsters?
I agree with this man. When someone has 94 hamsters then he could become a animal hoarder. Having 94 hamsters is a bad thing for health reasons and for him and his family. Hamster cages take up a lot of room so the cages would be taking up more than half of this man's house.
I used to have a hamster, it was so small I had trouble finding it while the whole time he made a burrow in the bedding, sleeping. But surely I can't have been the only one here that has seen Bolt? This article reminds me of that crazy hamster lady with her whole trailer full of tubes and cages.
omg!!!!!!!! they are so little . But i got to say they are so cut they are tiny an so so little . they must get lost all the time you must have lot of cage
