Lady Gaga's meat dress goes to Rock Hall of Fame
Lady Gaga made history at last year's MTV Video Music Awards when she turned butcher's cuts into high fashion.
On Thursday, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will unveil the singer's infamous raw-meat dress to the public. The dress — made of layers of Argentinian beef — was kept in a meat locker, placed in a vat of chemicals and then dried out by taxidermists in California before being transported to the museum.
Hall of Fame spokeswoman Margaret Thresher says the dress took on a "dark, beef-jerky" look while dehydrating, so it was painted to look "fresh" afterwards. The entire process took several months to complete.
The dress is being displayed as part of the "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" exhibit, which runs until February 2012.

After reading about the meat dress, it reminded me that lady gaga will not be fashonable for her life. She probably thinks she is, but she's not. Althogh, her songs are insperational. Like born this way really means something and kind of reaches out and touches you.
I think that dress would be yummy but not very good to wear. I like it just not on people. I just don't like that is my opinion. Like I said it would be yum yum yum.
This dress has a cool purpose behind it, but it is gross. I'm kind of surprised that it is going into any kind of "Hall of Fame". Lady Gaga is okay and all, but this dress is gross and looks like it smells bad.
That dress is so cool but I would never spend money on a dress like That its kind of Gross to think about wearing a meat dress but it would still be cool to see it in a musam. I guees Lady Gaga can rook it but I would never be able to.

I honestly love Lady Gaga, but that is just gross! I could not imagine the feeling of raw meat on my body. And putting it in a display case, that is even more gross.
AWW MAN! It isn't being displayed anymore. How do you make a dress out of meat? How do you put on a dress of meat? Is it comfortable? These questions probably wont be answered.
First of all why would you make a dress out of meat and second of all why would you put it in the hall of fame really I guess lady gaga cant find anything better to do since she cant sing.
I think that's really gross that she even wore a dress like that, and i honestlly don't think anyone would even want to see it in a museum.
I didn't even know that lady Gages dress was made out of meat only after I read the Senates that lady Gages meat dress that is just really cool in my oppion. I would agree that it would take a long time to make that dress becaues your making it out of little pieces of beef jerky.
