Jonas Brothers thrill teen girls in Peru Peru has called out riot police to control hundreds of young girls swarming the hotel where the Jonas Brothers are staying. Thousands of other fans have lined up for the group's world tour premiere. The boy band is performing two concerts in Lima because a Mexico concert was postponed due to the swine flu epidemic. The first Lima concert sold out in hours and 60,000 people are expected for each show on Monday and Tuesday.

Police blocked off traffic on Sunday as more than 1,000 fans met Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas at the oceanfront Marriot Hotel. Dozens of girls slept in a park outside the hotel to be close to their idols. "What a great way to start off our new world tour," the group posted on its Web site on Monday.

The Jonas brothers are so cool I wish I was cool as them... (lol)=) That's allot of girls that was there if i seen that many girls i would freak out Lol ))I wonder if during there concert if they were nervous ?????

I decided to read this article because I love the Jonas Brothers and I like to hear new interesting stories about their tour. I agree on what the security for the Jonas brothers did because they did the right thing to protect the brothers from being hurt or getting sick while on tour. Also because they needed to postpone it due to a radical spreading disease called the swine flue, which the brothers definitely needed to get away from. If I was in the same position as the brothers I would do the same thing because they took the right precautions to not get sick or get hurt from a screaming crowd of fans and a swine flue epidemic. I think this will impact other tweens because they now know not to be such a crazed fan to celebrities and why the Jonas brothers took those steps away from that concert date.

No offense but I hate the Jonas Brothers!!! Even though they are talented(especially Nick)I think they went too far! Their TV show isn't that funny either! But, That's just my opinion!

Jonas brothers are not even that cute. I mean ones 20 something one just turned21 and nick is 17 they need some more grown up music and stop making songs about love. Half the girls in america dont even know what love means. The reason why they became so famous is because Miley cyrus started dating him and they were guest stars on her show Hannah Montanna

Oh my gosh, that is a lot of people to see these guys play. There only there for about two days and 60,000 people showed up to the concert. That should be a record. I like the Jonas brothers and the adminstation
