Army Pvt. Karena N. Jennings has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. She is the daughter of Tina Jennings of Valdosta, and granddaughter of Lillian Pinckney of Sycamore St., Springfield, Mass. Jennings is a 2009 graduate of Valdosta High School.
