High-rise act

Scaffolding continues to go up at the Clinton County Courthouse for work to be done on the clock tower. Renaissance Restoration, Inc. is handling the project at a cost of $223,000. Maintenance Director Rick Laurion said this project is expected to take three months and last into August.

That is a big amount of money! I will never have $223,000 in my lifetime! it must be a really nice clock tower to cost that much.

Wow, that is expensive! That much to work on the clock tower. I would not to pay that fee. I never thought a clock repair would cost that much.

wow that place looks and sounds realy cool i would love to help put it together because some times i can be a very good helper.

That is a cool courthouse. I wish my house would have a huge clock on it. They had it very quickly. It will only take them three months. Amazing!

I live in Cinton and that clock looks alot better than it did. It is an old buliding and it needed to be repainted so money well spent!

i saw that being done because i live in Camanche and i go to Clinton a lot for shopping and to eat and other things so that was cool because i saw people on top of the building and they were very small and now it is done and its good.

I always see that whenever I go through Clinton.
I don't really know if it is necessary to waste 223,000 dollars on it.... I think it should be used on something else.

They're just getting painting the courthouse but they still have to paint a little bit more around the bottom of the courthouse it looks very nice so far.
