Her sneakers put a hurt on my nose An 11-year-old from Connecticut has the most disgusting shoes in America.

Trinette Robinson of Bristol, Conn., was crowned the winner of the 35th annual National Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker contest Tuesday in Montpelier, Vt.

Her sneakers were judged the most vile on the basis of their condition and odor. She says she got them dirty by playing hard in Girl Scout Camp and doing community walks for charity.

She was among nine kids ages 6 to 16 competing in the contest. She wins $2,500 and an expenses-paid trip to New York City.

The runner up was 6-year-old Madilyn Taylor of West Jordon, Utah.

Wow those must have been STINKY. Wounder how old the shoes were. Wouldn't want to be proud of that but big prize. Who would know to keep old torn up shoes?????

Who would EVER want to be proud of this? It just shows her feet sink really bad. I don't see how her feet wouldn't even grow out of them. I can't even wear the same pair of shoes for a whole year? Haha but I mean that's good for her, she's saving money on shoes, shes going to new York, and gets $2500. So good for her(:

Why would this be something to be proud of? I mean that's kind of funny and nasty at the same time. See girls can be more discus ting then boys. If she won that i wonder what my sister can win.

Wow.... I don't think they should encourage kids to have stinky shoes. But on the other hand, it would be easy money if you had disgusting feet.

"Gross" that is discusting that they even do events like this. I woudn't even want to be the judge but that's still cool that she got paid for it.

NEVER be the judge for that, I mean who would like to smell stinky,

That is really disguisting! a national shoe odor competion where the judges have to smell your rooten shoes every year. If I would have to do that I would quit my job my first day.
