Firemen rescue student stuck in vending machine
The Amherst Fire Department in Massachusetts was called to the local middle school for an unusual rescue.
A student got her arm stuck in a vending machine.
Assistant Chief Donald McKay says firefighters were called to Amherst-Pelham Regional Middle School on Thursday to free the girl, who was reaching up and into the vending slot in an attempt to retrieve a bottle of water that she had paid for, but got stuck.
McKay said the girl was stuck to her shoulder for about 20 minutes.
She was not seriously hurt but complained that her hand was cold from being stuck in the refrigerated section. She refused medical treatment at the scene but her mother brought her to the family pediatrician.
He did not release the girl's name.

That is good that they got the girl's arm out of the vending machine. It is kind of her fault for sticking her arm up the vending machine, instead of telling a teacher about it. It is also the vending machines fault for not working.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLZZZZ!! wow, just wow. i have actually almost done that before. BUT HEY, IF I WANT MY SODER, THEN I WILL HAVE IT!!!!!! ALWAYS
wow never thought i would see the day when someone wanted a bottle of water so bad that they would put there hand in a vending machine to get it she could'nt tell a teacher or janitor or something its not that serious even though you lost a dollar just go to a water fountain or get a empty water bottle and drink out of it
Why would you reach your arm into the vending machine? Yes, I know that she was trying to get her bottle that she paid for. Why not get a janitor and tell them that it got stuck?

Omg how could she do that. I would've shaken the machine and hit it but never would i had put my hand in there. I bet you she learned now. I would've been freaking out if my hand was stuck in a vending machine for 20 minutes.

I feel that this girl should have looked before she leaped. She could have complained to a janitor, teacher, or even the Principal. This is just common sense, what was going though her mind when she stuck her hand up the vending machine?
