Exotic Animals as Pets???
Mrs. Dunn - LA Hour 2
Yes, It would be cool to own a Zebra. But many people buy or capture exotic animals and they are being taken away from their natural habitat.
Angus Says “He would love having a exotic animal as a pet.” And that isn’t very odd because people sell Animals over the internet. There is a Camel in Wyoming being sold for 3000$ and Tigers on the internet get as low as 300$, isn’t that crazy.
One other bad thing about exotic “PETS” is that the carry bad diseases such as Herpes B, Monkey Pox and Salmonelles. I asked Angus if he still would want one and he said “I don’t care.”
Truman says “ It depends what animal it is for it to be bad,” and I agree with him. Some animals are becoming rare like tigers and camels and Zebras. And they can be very dangerous. But things like Sugar Gliders are basicly harmless and there is a ton of their speices so it dosnt matter.
The law now bans the sale or transport of big cats, which includes lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, cougars, snow leopards, clouded leopards, cheetahs.
So if you buy and exotic animal do some research. Because they might be sick, dangerous or illegal.

I can't believe some people would keep a dangerous animal like a leopard, or a tiger. Plus their just taking them out of their habitat. If somebody was to take an animal like that it should be from a zoo. It should be like that because you wouldn't be taking them out of their habitat, and it would be less dangerous because they would be more tame. I am glad their is a law to not sell big cats on the internet anymore!!!
It might be EXTREMELY amazing to own an exotic animal such as a tiger or zebra but it is completely cruel. These are WILD animals. They were born in the wild and need to stay in the wild! Plus, these wild animals, when they have had enough, they WILL do anything in their power to escape even if it means death. That is why they are called animals because they do what instinct tells them. So it is a very bad and mean Idea to keep a wild animals such as a camel or toucan as a pet. Even though they are beautiful creatures.
she is right animals can be very dangerous if they are cooped up i would never keep an animal against its will that is abuse and i would not like to be cooped up all day would you
I agree with Truman. It does depend. People dont understand that animals next room to move and run around . You can't keep a Zebra in a room 20 feet wide .
i absolutely LOVE zebras... my favoo print nd' animal, whoo wuldnt want an exotic animak as ayee pet; i would even want ayee leapord. their cutee too. althouqh i believee zebras aree thee freakin beest
YEAH!! Animals should be kept in the wild not a cage! As much as i would love to have a snow leopard (which would be awesome!!) I probably would die....... Yet on the other hand the leopard COULD be harmless. Still in my opinion its just WRONG!!!! People shouldnt do that! Those poor little animals scared to death not knowing where they are. Getting takin away from their loving family, and might be getting abused by their owner. WHAT IF that was you?!? Wouldnt you want to cry? Your just a little baby being taken away from your home and family. :(
Yes I know why the government band transporting big cats but it would be cool if you could own like a zebra, tiger or a great white shark
I have a question for you where are you going to keep it ? How are you going to get fresh food to that great white shark or tiger? Where is going to exercise ? What if it gets loose ?What then ? You need to think about what you said.
I would love to have an exotic animal as my pet but then I would be taking it away from its home. That is like some stranger coming to your house and just taking you away from your home. It goes both ways, animals have feelings too just like us. People need to stop worrying about money and just think about someone else like the animals they are trying to sell for money.
My friends have 4 tigers that roam around their yard and in the house. They live out inthe middle of nowhere so the animals can run and do as they please inside a prison fence that goes on for miles. As long as the animal has enough room and is not a threat to themselves or anyone else and their owners treat them right I see no problem with having wild animals.
