Big + Igloo = Bigloo
Big + Igloo = Bigloo
TweenTribune reports that Paul Steckart, of Bellevue, Wisconsin, has built a whopper of an igloo. It may melt away the current record holders set in 2008 by some people in Canada. Steckart's Bigloo, as it's called, beats the current record of 25 ft. 9 inches and 13 ft.8 high. The Bigloo is 27 ft.4 inches wide and 17 ft. 6 inches high. It took about nine weeks to construct the Bigloo that is built like a traditional Inuit shelter.
When snow got used up, the "gloo-crew" went door to door asking neighbors for their snow, carting the white stuff back to the work site. When done, Steckert set a flag atop the highest point so that all seeing photographs of the Bigloo would know who built it. The "gloo-crew" whose motto was go big…or don't bother, is waiting to hear from Guiness World Records if their efforts set a new world record.

That would be awesome to actually build an igloo really big! If I built one that big I would stay in it all day! I would probably eat in there too!
A bigloo.... AWESOME!!!!!! I want one of these bigloos. That's makes alot of sense. Me and my freinds would toatlly build one of these. I wonder if the person who made this, how long did it take to build this bigloo.
Wow!!!!!!!!!! That bigloo is huge and awesome. I would so want to play in that igloo. That would be a blast of winter time fun!!
That is a really big igloo. How long did it take to make that. I wonder if you can go inside there and play.
Wow that is not the biggest in the world there's a resort around the boarder of America and Canada that has igloos 5 times bigger than that, and I think they can do a little better.
thats so fake were does he get the snow that will be like 4 tons of snow thats crszy. If that was real that would be so cool.By if u dont like the comment dont be mad.it is my opinyan that it is fake.Later comment me back ok by.
Igloos are fascinating to make. Every winter I used to make an igloo in my front yard. Sometimes I would even sleep in it overnight. It was nowhere near the size that Paul made; it could still fit me and my entire eight person family inside. Tween Tribune member Jetts examined an interesting aspect he said “I would want to make an igloo that big. Sometimes it can backfire though sometimes igloos collapse on kids and they die. It is very sad and a good way to ruin a day.” Igloos can be dangerous. But that is why you must make sure to coat them with water so that the water freezes and hardens the outer and inner shell of the igloo. The article says “Steckart's Bigloo, as it's called, beats the current record of 25 ft. 9 inches and 13 ft.8 high.” That is one big igloo. That is about the size of an average classroom at my school.
That is huge! 27 feet wide and 17 feet high, that is crazy and it took 9 weeks... that is cool. They had to get a lot of snow that year. And they asked neibohers for there snow they had to have a lot persistance.
That is totally wicked. I wish I could of made that and put a TV and a fridge and maybe an arcade game. If you think that is a good idea post a comment. I might put a heater in it also.
I have always wanted to build one of those. But its weird because when someone has a fire in there it wont melt and they get up to like 60 of.
